The greatest challenge to Spirit-in-human-form is to locate within the self concepts, beliefs, emotions, old vows, muscle memory, and former lifetime imprints along with current connections to the influences of mass consciousness, and once located, to permanently alter them if so desired.
One of simplest ways is to observe the life one is living, but observing it as though you were looking through a microscope. Since 'living life' often gets in the way of the neutrality needed to recognize these limitations that no longer serve the self, an easier way is to notice one's reactions. This is what Thought Karate does. It is a simple and easy way to find what lurks in the hidden recesses of your subconscious that is still controlling your life, and it does it by teaching you first to notice your reactions, identify what caused them, and release yourself from their influence.

As the Master Creator of the illusions we live---often unaware of our creative abilities---we can get caught up in the false idea that life happens to us instead of because of us. We are always an actor or actress in somebody’s play, including our own. The act of mastery comes when we consciously manifest the plays we choose to participate in. They are one of the things that cause our life to be the way we are experiencing it when it is NOT WHAT WE WANT OUR LIFE OR OURSELF TO BE LIKE. These unrecognized imprints affecting us are made visible by how we feel and act, and by what happens to us.
These influences are many, and are added to almost daily until you begin to realize that you are the one responsible for your life: how it is unfolding, how you are experiencing it, and how you can reverse or alter it.

- Whatever you are experiencing in your life that is not what your heart resonates with could come from a Limiting Decision. For instance, you are a peace loving person who works very hard, but still wealth eludes you. Within your computer brain may be lurking the Limiting Decision that “Money causes fights.” Since you want harmony, your life will form itself so money avoids you, until the limitation is altered.
- Whenever you are in an emotional state not to your liking, a Limiting Decision may be the cause. For example, you are upset with yourself for eating too much. With the Thought Karate system, you find the memory that “It pleases my parents when I clean my plate.” You have been imprinted from an early age to disregard your stomach and your body intuition in order to keep your caretakers happy.
- When you cannot manifest what you desire no matter how hard you try, the reason could be a Limiting Decision. For example, you are a teacher, and no matter how much you exercise, eat “right”, and work for a youthful appearance, you continue to age faster than those around you. The hidden imprint influencing you turns out to be “To be accepted as wise, you must look old.”
